Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all payments made to SatYogi Academy, including course fees for the live training programme and subscriptions to the SatYogi Meditation Library. Please read it before you pay.
The short version
You have the first week to change your mind. After that, the term you are in is not refundable — but on the nine-month course, any term that has not yet started still is.
Seats in each batch are limited and are held for the whole term as soon as a payment is received. Once a term is running, that seat cannot be offered to another family part-way through, which is why the fee for a term in progress is treated as committed.
The first week
If you withdraw within 7 days of the student's first class, the fee is refunded in full. No reason is needed. We would rather a family left early and well than stayed unhappily, and a week is long enough to know whether the training suits your child.
After the first week
Three-month term. The fee is not refundable once the first week has passed, whether or not the student attends the remaining classes.
Nine-month course. The nine months are taught as three terms of three months. If a student withdraws, the term in progress is not refunded, and any term that has not yet begun is refunded in full — ₹15,000 for each. A student who withdraws during the first term is refunded ₹30,000; during the second term, ₹15,000; during the third, nothing.
This follows from the same reason given above: a seat is committed for the term it is in, and not for terms that have not started.
We would rather you were sure before you pay than disappointed afterwards. If you have any doubt about whether the programme suits your child, please speak to us first. We are glad to answer questions, explain how the classes run, and let you see what the training involves before you commit.
Meditation Library subscriptions
The SatYogi Meditation Library is billed for a fixed period from the date of payment. A subscription does not renew automatically — access simply ends when the paid period is over, and you may choose to renew or not.
If you find within 7 days of a new subscription that it is not for you, write to us and that payment is refunded in full. After 7 days, the period already paid for is not refundable.
If we cancel
If SatYogi Academy cancels a batch before it begins, or discontinues a course part-way through, you will be offered either a place in the next available batch or a refund of the fee for the portion not delivered, whichever you prefer.
Individual classes are occasionally rescheduled — for a festival, an illness, or a technical problem. A rescheduled class is not a cancelled one, and is made up within the same term.
Changing your plan
A student on the three-month term may move to the nine-month course at any time by paying the difference for the terms remaining. Moving in the other direction is not possible, as the nine-month fee is committed when it is paid.
Payments taken in error
If you are charged twice for the same enrolment, or charged an amount other than the published fee, write to us and the incorrect amount will be returned in full. Refunds of this kind are processed within 7 working days and are sent back to the same card, account or UPI ID the payment came from. Your bank may take a further 5 to 7 working days to show it.
